Tony has enjoyed creating gardens all his adult life, having made his first garden at the age of 21. He has been professionally designing private gardens since 2018. Before that he had a successful career in architecture and for 25 years ran his own practice. Many of his architectural projects were landscape oriented schemes and one of his final architectural projects was leading the master planning of a 400-acre woodland holiday resort in Ireland.

Working alongside Sean Murray (winner of the 2015 RHS Chelsea Challenge tv programme) on a garden project in 2016, ignited a realisation that he could combine his love of gardens with his love of design. Thereafter, Tony enhanced his garden design skills attending numerous garden and planting design workshops with garden designer Adam Frost and successfully studied a Garden Design Diploma mentored by Prof. David Stevens.

Being able to link his passion for gardens with his design experience has enabled Tony to successfully design numerous bespoke gardens for private clients over the last few years with many ongoing commissions.
